The deaths who vote - Austin

Lindon Johnson, Texan, was elected in 1969 as 36. President of the United States.

Curious is an episode that happened in Austin immediately after his election.

On the occasion of a parade in Austin, the capital of Texas, passing by the city cemetery, the President began to greet.

His assistant asked him who he was greeting.

Johnson replied "those" pointing to the headstones and added "they may be dead but they can vote really well".

This indicates the delicate and unclear American electoral system that happens with the possibility of voting by post.

In fact, in many elections it happened that they were found in the lists of those who had also voted deceased people.
