In Argentina they were convinced that they would be able to win this World Cup on the basis of an alleged prophecy attributed to Diego Maradona.
What has just ended is the 1st World Championship after the disappearance of what until now has been considered the greatest player of all time.
The alleged prophecy dates back to June 29, 1986, the day when Argentina, led by Maradona, won the World Cup in Mexico City at the Azteca stadium beating Germany 3-2.
Among the photos of the celebrations for the victory emerged one in which Maradona has in one hand the World Cup, while the other is with the palm open under, almost framing the flag of Qatar placed among others exposed to the stadium.
Is this another "Mano de Dios" wonder?
